This is crazy. This city, this country….everything. But in a nice way.
I arrived right before Chinese New Year. The good part is that many people are away from the city, going at their families and celebrating New Year by a family diner. The bad part is that I can not see this tradition through the eyes of the locals, but I managed to adapt.
This gave me the opportunity to explore a little bit the neighborhood I am staying in. I went to my first “Banana leaf” which is mainly rice as a main course and other types of sauces near it, which you can refill as many times as you want. “Lucky” for me I do not like rice, so no re-fill for me. Interesting though. There is also a catch: you give feedback at the end of your meal, by folding the banana leaf.

Next stop: Chinese Temple. Of course, that from all the taxi drivers in KL, we had to find 1 that had no idea where the temple was, but eventually I got there. Where to start. It was full of people, full or red and very very nice. I had my “fortune cookie” for the year, after having done an interesting procedure, and I think it kind of got me well. I like the foreseeing, so I am happy about it. I put it in my room, so that I will be remember every day to be calm and peaceful. :)
First impressions so far: these people love rice, just because…. taxi drivers are the worst I have ever seen, and the traffic here is “magic”. It is weird a little bit all this nice weather, I will need to get used to it, but I am not hot yet, which is good.
