This weekend I have been sightseeing, so I got a bit the tourist feeling and got to see some nice places, some weird people and took a bunch of pictures.
You can absolutely take a picture of anything. I mean anything. From the food that they sell in the market to, of course, the tourist attractions.
So, this weekend I have started to buy the first souvenirs, which of course are…….earrings. I just could stop it, they were so nice. I went in the Central Market, which I think is the best place to buy souvenirs. They all speak English and have cool things which you can also bargain. Near it, there is the China Town, which is a bit… too …… crazy for me, too many Chinese things and without a price. You have to guess and start bargaining for it. It is just to random for me.
The funniest moment of the weekend is for sure the Muslim people. In just two days I was approached by 7 people on the street, to take pictures with them. It is crazy… but I am getting used to it. I t is very funny, I can even imagine them going to all their friends and showing the pictures of the white girl in short pants that they saw today. I stopped a guy in the park who was taking pictures of me, thinking that I do not know, and ask him if he wants me to take a picture of him. He was shocked and started nodding yes yes and smiling like a 3 years old kid… just extremely funny.
I was in the National Mosque, where they dressed me according to the religion, and I felt so weird, that I can’t even describe it, and of course I was an attraction again, but this time I also took a picture with the lady. :)

It is so hilarious when they ask you where are you from, I say Romania, and they have this blunt look, and I say…Europe… and they are..aahhh….Europe. Only in these moment I realize I am at the other half of the Earth far away from Europe.
So, after this weekend, I have an idea what to tell people to visit in KL and where to go.

I have started the earrings collection. Chilly, pumpkins, something red and something black so far.

Public transportation- metro rail, just that is at the surface, with A/C. :)

Oh, yes, another useful discovery this weekend… It is hot in the middle of the day!!!
