Oh, I do not even know where to start…. UUUUHHHH….AAAHHH… Beautiful, clean, touristic, HOT, but definitely worth it.
So, I discovered 2 important things in my short trip to Singapore, and I advise all of you who want to go to another country as a weekend visit to do this:
1. Plan what you want to see. Document yourself before, have some things which you must see, and some which you are ok not seeing. It is of a great help.
2. Get a local to show you around. It makes such a great difference, you have no idea.
I loved Singapore. Even thought I had a 15 minutes stop at the Immigration office, i think they were looking to see where Romania is on the map and decided to let me in. There is only a bridge separating Malaysia to Singapore and it feels like you are getting into another dimension. Singapore is at a higher level then Malaysia. It is for something the most expensive city in the world for 2014.
The feeling of being a tourist I think is the most beautiful from them all. Alina and Gabriel ( the only guy born and raised in Singapore who has no idea what he can see in his city/country) were the perfect combination for a crazy weekend.
I have done many things from my bucket list, and some which were not even there:
1. went into a flyer, or “the eye”. Beautiful experience.
2. Manage to get on top of Marina Sand Bay. Ever better than that, I was there for Earth hour, so I could see Singapore lighting up after 1 hour of saving energy. Beautiful
3. Party on a rooftop club. Amazing!!!
4. Get into a super posh club. Hm, it was a nice experience, the alcohol helped.
5. Have super expensive drinks on a rooftop where you can see half of Singapore… worth it as an experience!
6. Go to an Indian Club….with real Indians…only Indians!!! Weird and funny in the same time. If you want to do this and to enjoy it, you just need 2 things: have an Indian with you and be drunk so that you are able to do it!
7. Order MacDonald’s as they have home delivery!! I loved that..
8. Pay 30 euros for 1 trip with the taxi.
9. Get soooo manyyyy picturessssss…Insane!! That for sure makes you feel like a true tourist!
10.Had crab! Love it!
Some pics just below to put a smile on my face when I remember that weekend.

I totally recommend Singapore. It is a very nice place if you want to reconnect with cultural events, crazy shaped building ( they have a theater shaped as a Durian…why?!?!?! and the Marina Bay which has a fricking ship on top of a hotel!! ), beautiful parks, a lot of people doing sports and living healthy, the weird ice cream ( they do not have cornet ice cream, they just have put a square shaped ice cream in 2 biscuits and that is it) and dogs….so many dogs!
